The Material collection holds individual blocks rather than whole lessons: a reading, a dialogue, a set of questions, a matching exercise, a vocabulary list. Use it when a lesson is mostly written and you need one more piece.
Two ways in
The quickest is from inside the lesson you are writing. Click Add segment here where you want the block to land, and in Add a block switch from Blocks to the Block Library tab. Blocks creates something new and empty; Block Library brings in something already written.
The second is the full browse page, which is better when you are looking around rather than filling a specific gap.
Find a block
Open Collections > Material.
Search with Search blocks by title, type, or topic, or browse the grid.
Click a block to open it and read the whole thing before you take it. The detail panel also carries tags such as format, style, medium, and LINC theme, which are useful for finding more like it.
Put it in a lesson
Click Add to lesson.
Pick one of your existing lessons, or choose Create new lesson.
Roshi confirms the block was added and opens that lesson in a new tab.
The block arrives as an ordinary block in your lesson. Edit it, move it, or delete it like anything else you wrote. It is a copy, not a link back to the library, so your edits stay yours.
Where it lands
Blocks are added to the end of the lesson. Drag it into position once you are in the editor. See Create and edit lesson segments.
Good to know
You can add the same block to several lessons. Each one gets its own copy.
Adding a block does not change your lesson's level. Re-level it after you add it, see Adjust an existing lesson.
